Hey babes! I am so excited for this post today because Luxy Hair is a brand near and dear to my heart. On my trip to Toronto, I had the pleasure of touring their headquarters, meet the Luxy fam in person, shooting for their blog, & a having fun day out for lunch with the team!
I thought I would give you little back story before we dive into all the fun photos from today. Luxy Hair was actually the first ever company I worked with. Years ago when I was just a little Junior in high school, I started a youtube channel and reached out to see if they would be interested in collaborating with me. I had a passion for hair and beauty and they were a company I admired so much. With only a few hundred subscribers on my channel I was shocked that they even responded! They sent me a pair of hair extensions at a discounted cost and I filmed a video for them. Instantly the video I made for them was my top video with thousands of views and I was so excited at it’s success. They then reached back out to me a few months later saying that they were surprised at how well my video did and asked if I would like to become an affiliate. Of course my 16 year old self said YES! I was so excited to be working with a company I literally had fangirled over for so long. And that is basically where our long term collaboration began.
Over the years I feel like I have gotten to know so many of the girls at Luxy Hair so well. They are the only company that I have such a personal relationship with. Most of the time when influencers work with companies their relationship is only to the extent of the collab they are working on. I have worked with Luxy for years now and it still blows me away at how much they care and how involved they have been with my journey on social media.
Needless to say, Luxy Hair is a phenomenal company and they have contributed so much to my story on social media. I appreciate them so much for taking a chance on me when I was just starting out as a content creator and for sticking with me over the years! They gave me confidence to keep creating and without them I don’t know if I would ever be where I am now!
