Let’s Go Bridesmaid Dress Shopping!

Bridesmaid dress shopping is something I have been looking forward to for the longest time! Last week I finally had the pleasure of being able to take my bridesmaids shopping to try on dresses and have a fun girl’s day out! We went to David’s Bridal to search for the perfect dresses that my girls would be wearing on their big day and my mom got to join searching for a Mother of the Bride dress too! I will be linking all the dresses they tried on and sharing which dress we ended up choosing at the end!
ON THE HUNT
As soon as we got to the store we hit the aisles pulling our favorite styles and colors! I new I wanted something light and in the pink or champagne family! After we had all of our picks we put them on our rack and started trying on some dresses!
Trying on Dresses
To start off I had the girls all try on the same style of dress to see how it fit everyone! They didn’t have the colors I liked most in all the sizes but this round was simply about seeing what the fit of the dress was like! One thing that is amazing about David’s Bridal is that they have sizes that will fit for everyone which is perfect when you are looking to make one dress work for a group of girls! I absolutely LOVED this dress. I love how wispy and light it looks. I think it is very simple and has a nice elegant touch! AND it looked absolutely amazing on!
Next up we looked at a few options in shades of pink! Delaney is wearing the One Shoulder Ruched Waist Mesh Bridesmaid Dress and Ashley is wearing the Vera Wang V Neck Halter Gown with Sash! Love the one shoulder look of Delaney’s dress! And Ashley’s was very simple and chic!
Next we looked at dresses with different necklines! Abbi wore a beautiful halter neckline! And Zahra tried on a dress with a lace neckline! The lace was super pretty because my dress has a lot of lace and I feel like these dresses would complement each other well!
Lastly everybody tried on a different styled dress in the same color to see what they would look like matching! Everyone looked so gorgeous!
Then we did a few fun photos in store to capture some memories!
THE FINAL PICK
We picked the Chiffon Bridesmaid Dress with Cascading Skirt– the first dress! We all felt like it flattered everyone so much and was perfect for the theme of my wedding! Originally I wanted pink but all of us agreed there was something special about this Vera Wang Champagne dress!
MOTHER OF THE BRIDE
My mom also came along with us to join the fun and she found the perfect dress for my big day on her first try! Mama’s got good taste;) Here are some fun photos of her picking out what to try on and her final pick!
