Curious about what equipment I use to create all of my content? Here is the detailed breakdown of all of my daily photography equipment and more!

NIKON Z6ii

The Nikon Z6ii is my daily shooter and the piece of photography equipment I use the most. It it fantastic for all photo and video environments and really does everything I need in one camera. I have been using this camera body for the past 2 years and I have no plans in switching anytime soon. The live view and auto focus features are two that really enhance the user experience and this is a great mirrorless camera to have.

Curious about the video quality of this camera? I have been experimenting a ton lately with the video capabilities of my Nikon Z6ii. Check out this video below and many other examples on my Instagram! To edit videos like this I have been using the Lightroom Desktop application. It is a little tricky because you can’t directly edit the video on there but what I will do is I import the video as well as a photo from the same shoot. From there I edit the photo. Then I will select both and in the bottom right hand corner I click “sync settings” and it will apply the edit to the photo. From there I export. I am currently experimenting with color grading video on Premier so I will report back once I learn more. The TEZZA app is also a great and convenient option to edit video on iphone.

Camera Lenses

I use a variety of lenses to capture different content for different environments. I currently have 16-35mm, 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 80mm lenses from a few different manufacturers. My favorite lens right now is my 85mm. The image quality is super crisp and captures content that I have been unable to with my other lenses. Another go-to lens of mine is the 24mm. This lens is one I use to capture everyday photos and is one of my oldest lenses.

CAMERA LENSES

16-35mm

A super wide-angle variable lens. Love this for edgy creative shots.

CAMERA LENSES

24mm

This has been my go-to lens for years. About 85% of my content is shot on my 24. Gives a slight wide-angle feel to your photos without being too extreme.

CAMERA LENSES

35mm

35mm is a very standard lens that a lot of people love. This is a great beginner’s lens and is incredibly versatile.

CAMERA LENSES

50mm

The 50mm will give your photos a professional look every time. It is slightly more zoomed in than the natural eye and gives a beautiful background blur.

CAMERA LENSES

85mm

I like to call this my paparazzi lens. It is very zoomed in and creates a cinematic/movie-like quality to all photos and videos!

CANON G7X MARK III

When I tell you the hype for this camera is real, I am not joking. I went back and forth for so long on if this camera was worth it and WOW am I glad I bought it. It is so versatile and easy to carry with you on the go. My favorite thing about this camera is the flash, I think we can all appreciate a good impromptu flash photoshoot and this camera delivers. If you are a person looking for something that is a step up from the iphone but still gives you that “in the moment” feel, this would be a great investment.

DJI RS3 GIMBAL

This is one of my newer equipment pieces but one of my coolest. This gimbal helps stabilize my Nikon while filming videos. This is a higher-skilled piece of equipment but if you are a videographer looking for a good DSLR gimbal this is a great option.
